The John Cook School of Business offers short- stay study abroad programs for graduate business students. Three courses are scheduled for the Spring 2. John Hongxin Zhao. Location: Hong Kong. Course : International Business: An Asian Perspective. This three- credit hour course will be heavily team oriented with case analysis and presentation as well as a live product study. The immersion experience will include class time with Dr. Zhao at City University of Hong Kong, plus guest lectures by Asian business professionals and expatriates. Several company visits will take participants into the work environments in both Hong Kong and Southern China, and several cultural site visits will expose the historical perspective of the culture. Particular attention is directed toward the complexity of the Asian business environments and corresponding business strategies. An optional trip to Beijing concludes the overseas opportunity.
